Hi I tested today but now I don't have crank and the key is not recognized at all.
Before it tell me key 1 in ignition now is key not recognized .
I will order some pcf9735 and try to program new pcf ,perhaps the key is bugging .
What do you think ? I checked the neutral park if present and ok next I want to take new wire from ews to dme and test perhaps some parasites ?

Today decided to take a look to the E53 and started by bypassing the ews to see if will crank and guess what - the sphere ews was faulty and the original too ...
So I will go tomorrow to recover one but I think this was the problem .
I continued the tests just in case : Ring antenna ok ,P/N switch ok , fuse ok and for key I suppose ok also I can id it with carprog or tag key .
My problem was thinking the ews I have was ok ,I ordered a ews test tool ,it will serve for next time.

What tool did you use to read the original ews?

Only because occasionally when i use ak90 I get this no start problem after making a key.

The cause of the problem is from small pieces of metal that short out the legs on chip after scraping the lacquer off.

I just spray with some electrical cleaner and scrub it with a tooth brush, works every time.
