Default help 2007 audi a3 8p 1.9 tdi sport alarm all keys lost

    hi all,
i bought a salvaged audi a3 all keys lost (locked with remote before loss) used lishi to decode lock and had a non transponder type key cut at local key cutting shop, i have done immo off and car starts fine, locks and unlocks with key, but alarm will not turn off because it remembers last time is was locked with remote yes? anyway to turn off so i can just use the key for now until i can do a remote fob?

had you programed the standard key with an audi can chip then inserting the programmed key into the ignition and switching on would have silenced alarm and would have removed the word safe too . just program the standard key with audi can chip to the car.

you mean a programmed chip to the car or just a empty pre-programmed chip in the key?

you would need to precode an audi can chip with the correct CS then program it to the car via diag , though just as simple to order a flip key and do same

Safe will stay until a transponder is correctly programmed to the dash.

Programming a remote or a transponder will deactivate the alarm.
