I think you need to prepare key first then program with pincode to the car.... you need megamos id48 tp23.

you need to remove the cluster & edit the eeprom. This needs to be done so that you can access the immo data. then when its done you need any ID48 transponder, a tp23 will work too. go into dash can & read immo data then press make dealer key & add to dump, then update data which saves it back to the dash......car will start

If the car was produced before 06/2006, it will not need any precoding. Just try to code TP23.

To be sure, just turn the ignition on with a plain blade, if the cluster showes "safe", you need a precoded key!.

definitely do not need to remove cluster. can be done completely with OBD.

start at page 84 / key learning of the manual and work down, the information
is (sort of) in there. Combine that with the programming notes when you access
the cluster and you will have everything you need to get programmed.

That is the procedure when you have working key.
When ALL KEYS lost , is most Golf 5 after 2006 you need to remove cluster and put in service mode to be able to access it.
After you have access you can add / program keys.
However there is some models after 2006 that can be still access with out working key.

    Hello Yugo45,

The procedure you talk about is 2008+ nec 24c32
We are talking about micronas, en micronas24c32 secured. All keys lost.

option 1: 2006/6+ take pin from ecu, If you have bosch use obd, if you have simos use bdm programmer. And take 6 from the 7 bytes from ecu.
If you use avdi, fvdi, svdi, this wil search the 256 position of the the 7th byte.

Option 2: You could open cluster, 2006/+ and read it with xprog.

Ps, ther should be a way to go to obd, straight to cluster. The fill 24c32 up with ff ff on some lines.
Would like to know more about this procedure myself.

Xprog reads this one in circuit.
You will need to read the 24c32, and the micronas itself.
There are some pins you need to lift. i remember reading that they could simply stay lifted>?
