    Default HYUNDAI GDS CHINA CLONE

    HELLO MATES..
i just wanted to share my latest tests with the a Hyundai Kia GDS clone with the software version V15 for both brands.
software must be run on windows XP professional spk 3. English.
The VCI is a 6 from 1 to 10...cables are very good, but the VCI looks and feels cheap.
Communication with the vehicle?s ECUs is good..same as the OEM.
the software lacks of some tech info like user manuals and such...but there is plenty of workshop manuals included...
But the software that comes with the kit only do USA versions on both brands.
NO EUROPEAN OR KOREAN VERSIONS ARE INCLUDED.
That means NO access to any diesel common rail systems or vehicles that are not produced for the USA, like the Hyundai Starex...
I have to make clear that I have not had the opportunity to connect it to non USA versions, but as soon I can do the testing I will update this thread.
anyhow...so far I tested HYUNDAI USA versions and works fine....
If someone knows about any another software for the GDS that can cover non USA versions please let me know.
I am cannot understand why GIT ( oem manufacturer of the GDS VCI) did not made any other software for NON USA versions...or am I mistaken?
    ok. mates...
    hope this help others...
    cheers-

    hello mates.
    An update.
Today I tried a Hyundai accent 2012, 1.6 engine. This car was not a USA version it was a Latin America version assembled in Korea for export.
The GDS could NOT automatically recognize the VIN, I input the model and year manually.
I choose and accent RB 2012 USA model.
It worked perfectly on all ECUs.
I was lucky that I had an accent model in the choices menu.
But I wonder what it would happen f there is no choice, I mean if I would work on a H1 or maybe on a Starex...there is no choice to manually input the model and year...
Has anyone had the chance to test such vehicles successfully with the GDS ? even the OEM GDS?
Could it be that the GDS is only for the USA market?
    I will update more news....
    cheers mates....
