    Default Western Digital Media Center

    WD TV HD Media Player ( WDAVN00 )

    I have bought the above and it wont support DTS, thing is it will launch .iso from the net, ie a bluray movie, does anyone know of a way to get the DTS codec installed?

    it does play dts but you have to use an optical lead from it to either a surround sound system or amp for it 2 carry the sound

    thing is this, the dvd player for surround sound is DTS but there aint no digital socket for sound, is 1 on tv but thats been capped off

    Cunny, if the TV had an optical (blanked off in your case), I think these are for optical out.. so your TV sound is thru your amp. I don't think they are usually for input, but I could be wrong.

    you coold also try the popcorn hour audio convertor it will convert the audio to AC 3

    PopCorn MKV AudioConverter
