VAG-COM VCDS 812.4 to 805

Hi,
Another thread today... i have a vagcom 812.4 that for some commands ask me for activation of the software, i think this issue is from the bad dump that has inside it... I want to downgrade it because 805 is more stable. Can anyone please help me with a dump (805) for it and a method how to wright it?

you have to activate the first time you use it plugged into a car is it a first install ?

the interface works, i can see parameters, can see dtc... but some futures asks for activation...

There is no use for that, the firmware in chip atmega162 it's bad, that's why your interface apears as shareware at some diags, you have to rewrite atmega162 chip with a programmer.Here are schematics, software and dumps for vcds 805 : http://s4.transfer.ro/storage/VCDS_805-6ad62.rar

I think you don't have the right VCDS software and i think you have shareware version of soft not the full one,but you can check that by the following: (enter in first screen of VCDS in Options and check there if your interface has a hex-key and if it's fully registered and activated) if it is without key then your soft is only trial version.

It seems that the previous link to 805 firmware is no longer available... Can someone who downloaded it upload it again or send to me? I have the same problem with 812.4 beta that it claims that the program is shareware/unregistered.

HI JOHNNIE BRAVO I,VE GOT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY VCDS 812.4 SOFTWARE AS WELL IT KEEPS COMMING UP AS NEEDING A LICENCESED INTERFACE .KIND OF PISSES YOU OFF WHEN YOU'VE GOTALL THE BUTTONS ON SCREEN HIGHLIGHTED BUT WHEN YOU CLICK ON IT FOR INSTANCE,"OUTPUT TESTS" YOU JUST GET THIS IRRITATING ERROR MESSAGE TELLING YOU THAT YOU NEED A LICENCSED INTERFACE. ANY ONE GOT A WORKING VCDS 812.4 OR 805 SOFTWARE COULD YOU PLEASE SEND ME THE LINK OR THE SOFTWARE ITSELF .THANKS GUYS

Hi
I have been board tonight so i thought i would have a play around

uninstall your software but leave drivers.

Download the following links

Replace the keyGen protect file with this one

This will allow you to create your own licence file but you will need to know your Hardware ID XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX.

Run the keyGen, select licence manager, add licence ,

Enter name, company, Hardware ID and then click generate licence at the top, you will see a new file in the KeyGen protect file .

Copy the content (not the file) to the VCDS-Release-8050 file
Then go back and copy the 4 other files from the same file as the keygen to the VCDS-Release-8050 file

Before you run the software i suggest that you disconnect from the INTERNET other wise i think you interface will be damaged

will above keygen and vcds 805 work with an clone version 704 interface or do i have to flash the interface with newer firmware. Does any have firmware dumps to share.
