    Hi all i have an xprog m 5
    And i tried to update to 5.5.1
    With usbasp and now when i try to connect and update it it say device silent
    Please help

    did the same as in post #76
    with pony prog only i had to connect 12 volt transformer to x-prog power jack before i could read and write did not even erase the chip just write flash , eeprom and lock/fuse bits
    open x-prog soft and hit update
    100% all good tested on 1L15Y and 0L15Y , 3DJ33 , read write all good
    all good
    it was ver 5.3 with dongle , now no more dongle and can run on my xp and 7 systems
