Hi to all DK users.

I think, my post will be useful for all members, who not knows real information about functions of genuine MMCFlasher. This is very useful and unique software, because MMCFlasher support many ECUs (and have a good price) which don't support even the most expensive tuning devices. And flasher can do most of its ECUs via OBD. Chinese sellers now sells MMCFlasher 2 and told to customers, that it clone but in reality this is another software, with another source code and this shit will work with many bugs and can kill ECU. Genuine MMC flasher is protected with SenseLock USB key and each key have a unique serial number. Software and licenses update is possible only with active internet connection from official server (update via one button in program). For now flasher has 38 modules for reflashing many different ECUs (Mitsubishi, Mazda, Honda, Subaru, Nissan, Infiniti, Suzuki, Volvo, Rover, Ford, Honda, Yamaha, etc..). From some ECUs device can read and write full flash and full eeprom or some part of eeprom (with information about coding, VIN and immo) and this is allows to fully clone some ECU models via OBD. MMCFlasher can be used with any J2534 device and has been tested with most popular Path-thru devices: Open Port 2.0 from Tactrix, Mangoose J2534 (original device only from Drew Tech.), CarDAQ from Drew tech., KTS VCI (with J2534 support) from Bosch. While reflashing some ECUs, that used K-Line for reading and writing (with MCUs MH72xx, MH82xx, MH83XX, MH8115 on board) you should apply +16V to boot pin of ECU for getting boot mode. Open Port 2.0 (cheap price and useful functions) is a best choise for this work, because it have boot output connector inside and can automaticly get voltage to boot pin of ECU (in most cases reflashing is possible on the car, without demounting ECU ). For reflashing ECUs on vehicles with CAN bus the boot connection is not needed and reading and writing of ROM of MCU is allowed via OBD (in some cases just need to take out connector or fuse of TCM ECU while flashing). My main work is chiptuning and ECU repair and i have a full MMCFlasher and very often MMC realy helps me in my works (not only in chiptuning). Bruce Willis (developer of MMCFlasher) is my good friend, but he is very occupied in work and has no free time and i want to help him with support and information for users from all countries. I knows, many English users have a difficulties with support and they can`t find needed information about MMCFlasher on English language.
If PremierD lets me share useful information about MMCFlasher - i can post descriptions of functions of all modules of MMCFlasher here on english.

Allows to read and write M32R CPU series: MH8102F(512Kb), MH8201F (512Kb), MH8202F (512Kb), MH8301F (512Kb), MH8302F (512Kb), MH8303F (768Kb), MH8304F (512к & 768Kb) via K-Line. Checksum recalculation is supported. Easy copying of data of an immobilizer from original to tuning ROM - just push button. The approximate list of the supported cars: Pajero iV petrol engines, Montero IV petrol engines, Outlander 2.4 (CU5W, up to 2007), Galant 2.4, 3.8 (up to 2013), Colt 2006+ petrol engines, Eclipse GT and all Mitsubishi ECUs with the declared processors.



№3 Mitsubishi Lancer X1.5, Mitsubishi Outlander JDM, MH8104 and MH8106 MCU`s

Allows to read and write ECU`s from Lancer X1.5 and Outlander JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) with CPU MH8104F via OBD (CAN) or "on the bench" (CAN, K-Line) and Lancer X 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 2.4; Outlander XL 2.0,2.4,3.0, ASX 1.6, 1,8 with MCU MH8106 and Lancer X EVO ACD. Function of eeprom unlock and ECU restore function is supported. Also allows read and write vehicle coding and secondary VIN number (stored in EEPROM) - full ecu exchange is possible without MUT-III. Module can read and write full flash of MCU and also support MAzda and Mitsubishi TCM and CVT ECU`s, based on MH8104F MCU.



№4 Mazda petrol (up to 2007) - Mazda ECU`s with MCU SH7055, SH7058, MH8405F


Allows to read and write Mazda ECU`s (manufactured by Mitsubishi and Denso) with MCU SH7058, SH7055, MH8405F on board via OBD (CAN). ECU restore function is supported (K-line mode). List of supported cars (approximately from 2000 to 2007-08 year): Mazda 3, Mazda 6, Mazda Z6 1.6, Mazda CX7, Mazda RX8 I, Mazda 3 MPS, Mazda 6 MP, Mazda Demio, Mazda Axela.




№5 Boats and Snowmobiles - Yamaha

Allows to read and write ECUs from Yamaha 4-stroke boat engines F40 / F50 / F60 / F80 /F100/ F115/ F150 / FET50 with MCU MH8102F inside (ECU filled by silicone mass). Allows to read and write ECUs from Snowmobile Yamaha R-FX Nitro (and all similar Yamaha-Mitsubishi ECUs) with MCU MH8104F inside (ECU not filled).



№6 Mitsubishi Diesel 2006+ Denso SH7058 (FP-256H, MCU in QFP256 form factor! not BGA MCU)

Supported cars: Pajero Sport 2.5 DiD, 3.2DiD; Pajero 2.5 DiD, 3.2DiD; L200 2.5 DiD, 3.2DiD; Strada 2.5 DiD, 3.2DiD. Module allows only writing ROM (with CRC recalculation) in ECU Denso with MCU SH7058 (processor in ECU maked in QFP-256H form-factor (not BGA).

Allows to read and write ECU`s (MH8115 MCU inside) from Mitsubishi vehicles - Outlander, ASX, Mirage from MY2013. Reading is possible via OBD (CAN), writing is possible only via K-line 'on the bench'. Checksum recalculation is supported.




№27 Ford Focus III 2.0GDI - ECU Bosch MED17.2 petrol

Module allows only writing ROM in ECU via OBD (CAN) and can do file converting from .VBF in open binary format .Bin. Checksum and RSA recalculation is not supported for now. Supported cars: Focus 3 2.0GDI and others Ford vehicles with ECU MED17.2.




№28 Ford Focus III 1.6 (105HP and 125HP) - ECU Continental (Siemens) EMS2204 petrol

For now module can only write in ECU and you should use only original firmwares (reflashing of tuning files is not possible for now) and can do file converting from .VBF in open binary format .Bin. RSA recalculation is not supported for now (this work in progress).




№31 Mazda SkyActive 2.0 and 2.5 petrol with ECU Mitsubishi (from 2011 to 2014+)

Allows to read and write ECU`s Mitsubishi from Mazda SKyActive (CX5 and 6 series) vehicles with petrol engines 2.0 and 2.5 from MY2011+ via OBD (CAN).

№36 DENSO CAN diesel and petrol- all Denso CAN ECUs with SH705x (+ eeprom)


Module allows to read and write full flash and eeprom (eeproms) from any gasoline or diesel vehicle, equipped with ECUs manufactured by Denso with CAN bus via OBD (CAN). Supported Renesas MCU`s: SH7055, SH7058, SH7059. Supported eeproms: S93A56, S93C56, S93C86. Supported external flash (used in Denso ECU from some Volvo cars with SH7058 and external flash AM29F400 on board): AM29F400BB. Full ECU cloning is possible with this module. Safe write mode is added (before start writing procedure, flasher will verify all sectors in MCU and will write changes only in this modified sectors). Checksum recalculation is supported (not for all manufacturers for now).
Module has been tested and works fine with Denso CAN ECUs from: Opel, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Suzuki, Subaru, Nissan.

Good news! We will add soon 2 new modules in MMCFlasher: Nissan K-line Hitachi ECU`s (based on SH7055 and SH7058 MCUs) and Subaru CAN/K-line Hitachi /Unisca Jecs ECUs (based on M32R MCUs). Reading and writing is allowed via OBD. Modules in stage of testing for now.
