clone edc17c46 from audi a3

hi mates,

I not have a lot experience with edc17, but i I have received one ecu blocked to clone in other ecu that i have. Both ecus are the same part number of bosch and part number of VAG, the ecu blocked when put on car start fans. is possible clone only eeprom for start the car in the other ecu i have or need or in eeprom are data storaged about block in the ecu?

U cant clone edc17 becasue of OTP area.
best thing to do is leave ecu as it was and make immo off first. after that if car downet run ok, or have diferent maps or software, copy map area only!

immo off or abritus edc17 clone solution, it will transfer Cs, pin and immo related info from one to another.

Otp area is the same in both ecus?

no, OTP is different! You need to transfer data from original ecu to donor ecu. Data needs to be re-encrypted with the correct key to work.

I don't have access to broken ecu, to donor ecu yes, is possible do immo off on edc17c46 easy? what is needed?. I think the best way is do immo of on donor ecu to solve problem and the cart start.

eeprom and flash is needed to do immo off. If you make immo off just in flash you will get error message on dashboard.

No, you have to restore immostate after. If you can get immodata from dashboard CS, MAC, PIN VIN it is possible to add these data to the donor ecu.

hi friends!it' possible remove immo by eeprom,without check light in dashboard!!!!Or you can also replace the microprocessor and rewrite the correct data by extrapolating the correct data from the instrument panel . this solution is tested 100%
