    Default Amiko Mini HD need 8 digits password

    Got a box hear of my mate we just can not go in the config net asking 8 digits pin code, any idea? Tried all zeros etc, please help.
    Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

    Try updating the firmware it should wipe all passwords if you haven't done so already

    Updated via USB still the same, mates I have come to the end of the road, appreciate any other solution.

    Just ignore the advert popups once you click on the download link, also the more I think about it the 8 digit code it's asking for sounds like a birthday date.... 00 00 0000 .

    Looks like terminator birthday, mine is Amiko Mini HD and not combo HD, you got another link to mini HD firmware?

    i have a amiko mini hd to sort, it says on the box info lastest update oct 2012, loader version m3606f 1,1,3
    s/w version 0a070a00_1.4.87 emu.

    whats my best bet going forward?

    If it's an original amiko (are ther cloneboxs ?) then the link I provided for the firmware's will allow you to update it to the latest firmware, the reason I'm asking if it's an original amiko is that firmware info you provided is not listed on the amiko mini hd firmware page and I think they go back to when the box it was released.

    But where it says loader version m3606f 1,1,3 in your info, there is a upgrade tool for that loader (3606) listed on that page in the tools for amiko section. So it could be that yours is an original amiko.
