    I am guessing his eeprom data was corrupt and he got data from another file...put that in and change the vin #?

    You have the dump after repair ? maybe we can have a look aswell to see what is changing in eeprom and is preventing everything to work.
    So basically you still do the milage ?

    The gateway is in built in the front SAM, basically the front fuse box assembly. There are inside two 9S12XEQ384's. It's just one that gets altered.

    Yes I know that, removed fuse box,Sam lots of times, I was asking in post#18 what was the procedure for fixing using arbrites.
    Or the definitive method of repairing directly to the micro.
    Please help stamp out this disgusting trade.

    You can read and write eprom with FVDI ( AVDI ) without removing front sam from the car.
