    It reads / writes via OBD2 the CGW if is good (no damaged) ... but when is damaged already do NOT write over the OBD2 !!!! Write damaged CGW only via programer....

    I was assuming it was possible to read it directly.
    Would never ever ever ever try to read it via OBD

    The same question, can it be done with arbrites?

    i was get same problem with AVDI, but i was fix it with Vediamo

    i am wonder how you fix it with Avdi...eeprom or flash was damage ?

    you can read and write eeprom with avdi on obd if its not damaged,if its in boot mode so you can read it via obd too.

    both eep and flash can be read/write with AVDI on OBD even if its damaged...

    If you have Boot mode, you can repair in eprom. If you lost battery power in programming, you need repair flash or and eprom ( you can use flash data from another CGW) CGW SW No. you can find in dump header

    is it not possible to restore the flash and eprom with the Original ones what you have read before the boot mode with AVDI?

    It's possible, you must use your brain and many dumps samples. Remember AVDI read 256 kb flash and xprog or upa read 386 kb flash, but difference in not used area!

    Yes I know that mate, that's what I have done in the past.
    I was trying to find a quicker solution that could be done without going back to workshop to use star online
