    Default HTPC

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good 'out of the box' ready built HTPC. I want to be able to run XBMC on it and stream movies, music etc without buffering. I also want to be able to play the latest pc games without any problems and of course surf the web. i will need it to be relatively quiet as it is going to be placed in my living room and small enough to hide away. My budget is around ?400.

Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

Thank you for your guidance. The Prometheus - The Ultra Fast XBMC HTPC Media Box seems like a good piece of kit and if i only wanted it for XBMC alone this is the type of box i would probably go for. The Intel NUC range are tried and tested and i will take a closer look at these. I have also been recommended to look at the Lenovo Q190 i3 and the Acer Revo so again i will have a look at these two.

If anyone has either of these boxes i would like to know what you think of them and if you would recommend i buy one of them.

    Thank you in advance.
