Have tried downloading file but keep getting CRC Error message, saying no data.

Help, anyone, please??

ETA: I am a total spanner when it comes to technology - ad that is NOT in a good way! So, any "idiot guide" level tut which the rar. seems to be is always very welcome. Thanks guys, will be eternally grateful if someone can sed light on how I can get round the CRC Error issue. One step ata a time for me..... doh.

Just bought my DM500 haven't had a chance to plug it yet but can't wait to have it up and running and start tweaking the beast. This guide seems to be a good starting point, thanks for sharing

Hello guys. great forum u got here! i just wanted to ask you since i cant download the guide yet. I have dreambox 500 and i want to connect to pc and make a list of free channel of hotbird such as BBC world RTL etc. i want to save that list and uploaded to a second dreambox that i have. (i dont want any locked channels to be unlocked, only the free ones).

Looking forward for your advise.

Presently my DM500C need the smart card to insert into the box before it canbe view,is it possible to upgrade to cardless? Can this guide use for it? Thanks
