hello I read the 37 pages of this beautiful discussion .I have a fvdi v2016 flyobd id F01988 after the problem en FVDI Locked Device Solution fvdi I made the update with (fwdownloader) eraser and download the file hore line ops the red led flashes fast on dongle

Hi have fvdi 2014 and it not connect to volvo dashes 2007-2010
all before 2007 connect normal
what can be problem of this ?

hi

have fvdi 2014 on this saturday worked good did a smart dash from 2011 no problem all OK
now today surprise not work error 5, yes i know this is driver error but drivers are OK
the LPC1788f get very hot when connected to usb also no FTDI does NXP works as USB controler?
i think NXP is dead and fvdi is garbage now

I just found this thread, but i still haven't read all the pages.
I want to ask something, because i have FVDI 2018 (not sure if its "Original" Fly) (in tool i have VdiagTool engraving) and with some cars i have some issues...
I´m trying to read / program key for a VW Car (Mexican Model: VW Clasico = (More or Less) VW Jetta 2012) with K-Line Dash / immobilizer but it doesn't work for me.
Already tried all option (i think) between VW Menus (V24), VVDI2 Menus, and no results...

Someone told me that for this type of car model i need FVDI v21.
I´m also trying to program a key for a 2006 Dodge Ram STR10, but it does not read the SKIM info when i enter in "Key Learning" menu. Some other models i´m OK (already in a 2006 Durango, and a 2009 Dodge Ram and it reads info OK).

Cloud you tell me if i need to do some rework / change components in my PCB? I haven't open to see PCB version, but for your experience, can you tell me if by replacing some components could i have this working in a better condition?
Please let me know if you need some PCB Pictures so that i can take them and upload here...

I also read that for some Chrysler models i would need a J1805 Adapter, but it seems that this would not work with FVDI Clone.
Can you give me some tips on this?

Guys, hello....
anyone that could help me out with these doubts i wrote?
i would like to knwo if i need to do some rework on my pcb or not....
I´m also trying to read the dodge key with the Tag soft to see if i can clone or do something with the new key but i have no luck...
These keys have the PCF7941 chip on it...
Anyone that can help?

To prog. the LPC1788 use MagicFlash + FTDI USB to TTL Serial Adapter 3.3V
