this on windows xp ? or you trying to use it on windows 7 or higher?
iv only used mine with xp and always been fine
also did you try to use other software instead of the one it came with?
other than that did you try to do an update?
all the above is bad except the part about using xp only

I use wines 7 x32
I was given this device, without software on the disk. It was bought for a long time in 2013-2014. It does not have a softdog. The program on the laptop did not run the native Commander V2.2. On this new version 2014 TAG and a few more brands are working. Perhaps this is not FULL. can I flash it for FULL 2014?

dont flash it or even try to, it will kill it
if you have some working then all you need is the correct software for the unit

FVDI 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, fvdi 2 and all version SVCI all are online version.

They always were blocked anytime by STIC company zhu engineer.

FVDI 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 ,FVDI 2 and all version SVCI with a battery

When the battery dies, the device will be locked

svci 2019 and svci2020 they do not have a battery and do not have to be online, to extend activation every 29 days, while these older versions 15,16 and 18 have a battery and must be connected to the internet every 29 days and can be blocked at any time

svci is trash can.jpg if it doesn't work, I suggest visiting the nearest garbage can.jpg

Well, not everyone can do all brands of cars, it's still a copy, but you can do a lot, buy yourself an original, so when you have such a problem, let the support solve it.
