I bought the 1K0920874B Dashboard from ebay as upgrade to HIGHLINE of MID-LINE 1K0920862K Dashboard in my 2006 JETTA TDI. I managed to get the PIN of my existing 1K0920862K Dashboard as well as IMMO PIN, but unable to do anything with new Dashboard.

Also I don't have any serious programmer to read FLASH. I managed to read the 24LC32a eeprom content using WILLEM PROG...

In case of CDC3272 do not read Micronas. Select and read only 24C32.
For Micronas CDC3217 & CDC3297 for flash reading use XProgM (24c32 and flash)Last edited by vlado kljucar; 23rd February, 2015 at 09:49 AM.

OK, so without FLASH there is no way of reading the Dashboard PIN from the dump I uploaded earlier?

no this dash has 3217 micr. there is the encrytion key for decoding data in eeprom.

I am a bit confused now. I already uploaded my eeprom 24lc32 dump. Do I still need to read the new Dash with xprog-m as vlado kljucar described above?

yes you must read, but if you not have good soldering skills you can easy damage cluster

To get Pin you have to read Flash + eeprom, Eeprom is encrypted and it can be decrypt only with Flash. Originally Posted by bezze

Sure. The point is to get the PIN and add the dashboard using vcds. If that is what you had in mind...
