Maybe you want to know: I broke an ECU of a 3.0 tdi and a friend have an ecu from a 2.7 TDI edc17cp14.
Then my friend write to the 2.7 tdi ecu the backup from the 3.0 tdi it works but only with immo off and in the instrumentcluster stay SAVE.
At the Moment i dont know, is there the CS, Pin etc. of the 2.7tdi or there are the data from the backup 3.0 tdi.
Is there a chance to adapt the 2.7dti ecu to the 3.0 tdi engine?

if they have same moterboard.... and you have kess.... on bench you can copy entire content off old ecu.....if car is audi may have component protection..... only online vag vas or original abritus....

This 2.7 with backup does not give any proper data as the eeprom can't be decoded. It's a real frankenstein ecu.
This is from your 3.0 backup to 2.7:
IMMO Version 4
TPROT_V07.00.00/1796
CS: 60258DCD968616 (can't be correct as OTP can't be transferred)
MAC: 0FD8F3E4 (can't be correct as OTP can't be transferred)
PIN: 01585 (can't be correct as OTP can't be transferred)

This is from your untouched Backup and is all ok:
IMMO Version 4
TPROT_V02.00.00
CS: CAEFA07D95DF00
MAC: 79BE61CC
PIN: 20400



It should be possible to transfer this to your new ecu.

Big thanks to eltiobarbas, he Helps me and the car is work with the 2.7tdi ecu.
