dtc should be only in memory,shouldn't have limp

hi
my problem the light transmision code 146
i change the air mass for 5 times no use the problem isnot solved
i check all wires and mechanic transmistion every thing is ok
i noticed that the check engin lamp isnot light at all i think the lamp is not good so i checed it with the lanch with the dash the lamp is ok but it doesnt light with the car
may be the ecu need new software ?

If the car is automatic transmission GM, it can not work without the proper flowmeter. Check intake manifold for leaks, cats, etc.
