    Default reset tyre warning light

    I just bought a mk 5 2005 golf 2.0 gti turbo petrol nice car so far but the low tyre warning light has come on i have checked the tyres and one was low is there a reset button on the mk5 to turn the light out. Thanks for any help

    i found the reset button the light is now flashing is that right or does this mean there is a problem

    You can try to reset tyre monitoring system. If you have vcds try to connect with tyre monitoring sys. If cannot connect, go in ABS and basic settings. In drop down many should be option for reset tyre system monitoring. last week I solvec passat B6 and octavia 2 with same problem. Only for me, light was always on and in ABS fault code was "tyre system warning defective". Try and report.

    it has just had new tyres and the problem seems to be the sensors on the wheels
