Default Channel list update bricked my Openbox V8S

I've updated the channel list on my 3 days old Openbox V8S from cwaite's to AJ's and got it bricked, it's stuck on Load now.

Have tried to reset, remove cables, whatever, nothing happens.

    Couple of questions please:

    1. Is that approach with the RS232 serial cable going to work on my box too? (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...ll-modem-Cable)
    2. Anything else I can do now to maybe start it? I don't have a serial to USB cable and got a La Liga football match I wanted to watch tonight.

    Thanks.
