    Default No epg

Having a recent problem downloading EPG.
I have enigma2 Smirnoff version, all was fine till a month ago. But now when I try to update epg, I get the usual chugging of gears and update msg's on screen but nothing actually happens.
    Anyone ellse having similar prob.?

I'm using cross epg and have noticed the same problem, my rytec providers won't update and it won't download any epg data at all now

I was wondering if anyone knows of a better image similar to the commando image that works on the DM500s as that is brilliant.

    In OpenPLi:

To update the sources of XMLTVimport, deinstall enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec and reinstall.

There are two files in crossepg that need to be replaced....look again. Use Ftp in DCC to delete them and replace. Sorry but no more clues

You probably used the provider files...it's not them...read my first post on this thread. Yes a different image may have the new files within crossepg or it might not !

you said u got it working, yes? are u using Smirnoff image with cable box and virgin uk as provider? Ive been reading on numerous forums and still vcant get this. Tried uninstalling cross epg, tried updating as per openpli forum... still not happening.

Can get it all ok for DM800 using as satellite box and EPG is fine, just not for virgin cable
