Default BMW E90 Brake Pads Worn

I reset all services on BMW's before doing mileage but I've had a few that have shown 10,000 (for example) left on brake pads and after mileage change I get service warning and ------ on brake pads. When I try to reset brake pads again they won't reset. The car obviously hasn't done 10,000 miles and the wear sensors can't be triggered as the pads haven't worn. Can anyone throw some light on this? I've tried resetting with Delphi but still no change. Tanks. Dave.

You have to change the sensors even if there not cut. If you reset them with a used sensor they often set to 255% and put the red warning picture on the dash.
