Murata filters is low frequency pass filter. Pass low frequency data line signals and attenuate high frequency spikes.
With murata high frequency noise immunity should be better, but in cars with not started engines there are no high frequency sources.

What about this capacitor and resistor, which don't exist on genuine KESS, do you need to remove them?

Sellers on aliexpress started to sell KTag without Murata filters and no ground pad to solder them to. Try to find sellers that have the filters.

Yes this is true...
and i just found out today...
I had a 2nd Ktag ordered to a friend from the same supplier thati got my 1st one and i was going to make the rework today on this and i just realize that this pcb is totally different on the murata filter pads....
and i made the purchase from the same supplier i got my Ktag.... Now i dont know if try to make some kind of "adaptation on this or if i just send this fuc$%&$ to the trash....
Now i know why it didnt read right an eeprom from a IAW 4AFB ECU.....

You guys need to be carefull when you buy.... (i know that this is what happens when you deal with asian markets...)

Yes I was wondering about those..... The pads are smaller than the murata it seems.... Anyone done one yet?
