i do it test, solder working FDTI chip from working unit in this broken pcb and the same problem.. so..think is somwhere problem... NXP chip is works as well because soldered from working unit as well. What i see, i compared some resistans value, and see very low resistans on the one capacitor (this middle close FDTI chip and between SD SOCKET CARD) have 75 ohm when working unit 15k ohm...

i desoldered U13 because one of this signal going to U13 but resustance is still LOW, will measured circuit i try find element which made me low resistance

Help please. my KESS V2 can read but can’t write messages change of status possible. ECU Denso sh7058/7059 Mitsubishi Pajero sport 4m41 engine.

please explain cheap components ? on the kess board i see alot of proper components and only some bad
yes they are both china boards because eu clones are bullshit and most so called eu sellers are selling china units some not even reworked or just part reworked (and yes iv seen this, one well known so called eu seller i had kess to repair and was china pcb with eu seller putting resin ove nxp and sdcard so couldnt be looked at)

After all, the whole thread is written about it and in fact all the parts are fake. Compare the markings on the Chinese tool parts with the original.

The last pcb kess-ktag does not even have murata filters...
I bought recently from kingbolen aliexpress and I asked them to send me pcb with murata filters! I actually received with murata.

If you do not have the patience for a complete rework, very important for minimum rework with quality crystal quartz 8MHz and of cource quality micro sd card.

please explain what makes you think/know all the parts are fake now you are saying ?????
i dont see all fake parts and why would they put fake parts on ? i can understand them put equivelant parts but fake?
do you think the originals have different parts? they mostly have the same manufactured parts but some fail and are advised to replace for known quality parts from good suppliers rather than china suppliers because from china you cant garrentee where those parts came from (maybe an old pcb of something else etc)

and looking at the transisters on the pic of the kess if you take your time to look again you will see these are the same as whats on the so called original kess
the main parts i would seriously replace on that pcb are whats been said above
sdcard and crystal
also you will find the murata filters are not really needed also prooven with some so called eu sellers selling units without those too and with just the standard ones you see in the pic

Your kess looks like mine, i reworked mine with quality components, just murata filters left on bench, cause whey are to long, to place on pcb, i will try to look maybe i can get these smaller lenght. (SD card not replaced yet). I'm not done a lot cars before and after rework. But i did lots of read/write procceses on same ecu's whitch i have on my bench for testing. And i can say just two differences after rework, They both kess and ktag working faster and kess can read write DSG. Before rework i always get "unknown ecu hardware" error on DSG.
