New Official Skybox F5S/F3S Software Released 19/05/15

Skybox have released a new firmware for the F3S/F5S with the release note that it is to fix the Epg XMLTV download bug. This is the official release which can also be obtained from their website. This software should also work on the Memobox/Openbox etc sister brands of the same models, bearing in mind that it will change the bootup logo to Skybox. It is untested by myself at the present time and as with all upgrades they should be carried out at your own risk.

Yes, thanks Martin, I can confirm it's working for me as well. One or two other observations that I've also noticed so far is that the Youtube app is still not fixed and with the epg and time setting set at the required " internet * option the time display is approximately showing as 4 minutes fast.

Looks like the old "summer time" bug is back!

They fix one thing...then break another. LOL.

Its not the firmware that is faulty with the clock, its the ways you guys are applying xmltv.

1.) Format your USB stick in PC (NTFS)
2.) Set EPG to Satelite and switch Summer time to ON (just get the time right) - normal now and next EPG at the moment
3.) Go to Network Apps and perform a download and switch on AUTO update
4.) Once download has taken place, switch EPG to XMLTV

Wallah, Full EPG with correct time settings!!! 100% WORKING

                      What box are you using?

My EPG is still 1 hour out on my F5s. The EPG time is correct, but it's showing the wrong programme info.

The "summer time" bug has definately been reintroduced.

Before the XMLTV EPG stopped working on the previous firmware, there wasn't a problem.

The time of the listings is still 1 hour out, so please check your listings and let us know if yours is working OK. Thanks very much.

Sorry Amarjit, but I think you are mistaken. If you check the Epg using BBC1 for example - you will find that the tv listings are a hour behind despite the box displaying the correct time. As others have already reported the summertime 1 hour epg bug is definitely back in this firmware update.

If amarjit_dhillon is using an openbox V6 or V8, then his EPG may be working OK. That's why I asked him which box he has.

I don't have a V6 or V8 myself, but have heard that the new firmware is working OK on these boxes.
