if not cut the wires the cpu will wake up..and blocking the SPI bus bcose the SPI protocolls only one master interface allowed and in this case the programmer MUST be the master not the CPU. You can halt the cpu thru the reset pin if you can reach it. On kline isn't possible. But the reset pin it is the same side like the eeprom
The vvdi eeprom adapter working only if you phisically see and able to connect to the eeprom. But you can't bcose the it is on the pcb inner side. If you prefer to desolder or cut these pin rows and sockets on the picture is it's your call. I choose the cuttung. It's fast and safe

If battery was removed, security data is gone. You need to send in for repair.
There is nothing you can do on your own.

yeah this Dallas based secu is literally garbage when your customers far away from you. If the backup battery is depleted or removed like your no way to fix BTW SMOK using the same s.hit
There is plenty of same level security stuffs, without battery or simillar things i mean bulletproof stuffs

1.Use "Reset Sec"unlock chip, the original security byte displayed in the window below
2.Read/write D-FLASH, EEE, P-FLASH and POF data, the command can be executed many times
3.Use "Set Sec", input the security byte read from step 1

There are non secured, and secured.
