after reading ecu is dead, write verify all ok but ecu no longer has can bus alive

Are you read bcm or rfa (kvm)?
I read bcm from range rover without problem. And i read many kvm without problem. What bcm do you have?

It 's BCM, in vvdi it is listed as RFA but it's really BCM even in picture it says BCM in the middle of the PCB. This is new added in 4.8.1 I also did BCM/CEM without issue this is one is different though. Take a look in the software under Immo-jagaur-xf-rfa(2013)
