VVDI PROG

I cannot upgrade my VVDI-Prog, when I connect, it is red Dot and yellow flashing. When I go to upgrade, then it's only red light...and cannot find device.

mate,currently the latest version is V4.3.1 version.not need to update the firmware.usually download the latest version then use directly.
if new version need to update firmware the update log will show you.please contact me on skype.i will check and help you.

Notes:Because of Chinese Traditional Spring Festival,mostly company will have a vacation from 3rd-13th,February,2016 in china.
in this period worker all not in company,about repair device or other issues should be waiting for the vacation end.

I have connection with VVDI Prog...but it fails to update repeatedly. Any ideas? It hangs up during the "connecting to server" phase.

Also I am trying to read CAS 2 - and repeatedly fails to crack. Has anyone read this successfully with VVDI Prog?

friend,V4.3.1version DON't need update firmware.please download the latest version use it directly.
About CAS2 there are 2 types,please check and confirm choose the right connection diagram.

VVdi doesn't want to be defined in the program
on win10
on win xp everything is good

Hi,

I've connected the in-circuit cable to a 868 BMW key board which looks exactly the same as in the VVDI software picture. I've checked the connections a few times and they are fine.

I've also checked de pcf79xx adaptor and it's the latest version, with a 0 ohm in R19 resistor.

My OS is windows 7 and I've selected PCF7945 - IN CIRCUIT option in the VVDI software.

When I try to read the eeprom I always get the same error:

- Read (0%)
- Read error

I've tryed a few times with and without the soldered battery of the keyfob.

Do you have any suggestions? Someone have readed the eeprom correctly?

you won't be able to read it.Only option to read it is reset security and read it.
But this will erase content.

Yes, when I reset the security I can read it. But when VVDI renew the mcu, it also protects its contents and that's why I can't read the Eeprom.

I bought a new vvdi-prog
and I have the exact same problem
the software can not find device
