I don't think it's vvdi problem. Did you tried to read other MCU's after it failed? Because I suspect maybe cable faut - might be broke somewhere, it happens.

Hi there lads. Dont sure which version software you use but on 4.8.8 maybe is some bugs. Yesterday i tried renew remote key for Opel Corsa D equipped on PCF7961 and write file is error with version 4.8.8.. with 4.8.7 all fine without any issue. So i recomended you maybe try diffrent version program.

Hello I tested the new option cas4 (read/write) without removing components on a cas4 5M48H and 1N35H but it didn't work, crack error. I heard some people don't have a problem with this, is this a hardware fault? Or does my unit need a update?

Did you try to remove capacitor in your case.

Need to remove if cannot crack without removing. Manual clearly say that. Me and my friend tested 5m48h and didn't work without all component in place but worked after desoldering 1 resistor.

I have a problem with : MAC7242VAF64 in KIA Sorento Airbag unit ..

Wiring some as VVDI-Prog user manual ( I didn't understand where the 12V written on the map should be connected ??)

I try by any version but result some , dump verify is different , I appendix log file

Try
1. Apply external 12V to the VVDIProg
2. Apply external 12v to the airbag ECU (remove 5v to VVDIProg to the processor)
