Hi i buy VVDI Prog and i have problem to read old motorola hc11 i have message :
[2022-03-24 23:33:43] : Initialization device...
[2022-03-24 23:33:43] : Initialization success!
[2022-03-24 23:33:44] : Initialization chip...
[2022-03-24 23:33:45] : Chip not connect(00)
i try fev motorola...
my connection cable is MCU Reflash v3

Check the conection pinout and soldering conections of cable to pcb or MCU if it was done corectly !

Check if have mask the MCU proabile is Secure MCU !

You try to read MCU in circuit or outside with some adapter ?

From what module you try to read HC11 ?

I Try read in Pcb and desolder... notging.. first motorola is hc11e9 mask 4e28b... second motorola hc11p2 mask1e53m that same problem.. connection 100% like in instruction...

Today i try another motorola hc 11f1 that same problem... I try st10f280 that same.. I Think my VVDI prog is bad...
I have question VVDI is tahat slow? reading 25L3208 take fev minutes, on my Revelprog just fev second...
And windows defender after restart computer delete vvdi main program... it is normal...

I'm give up VVDI prog is not good tool... what programmer you can recomed orange 5 is better? Orange 5 have a distributor in poland?

For older Motorolas the Orange 5 programmer is the best. VVDI prog is quite good for newer MCUs and for eeprom and other external memory chips there are other progs that are better than VVDI.

Hi,
Anyone know why my VVDI always show : 12V Power Adaptor unconnected, while i connected 12v adaptor.
This tool is brand new & this is first time i use it.

Maybe problem with vvdi or psu

I have found a issue with software v5.1.3.

Every time i try to use XDNP16 adapter to unlock a secured kvm with 384 chip, it fails.

The security byte location is wrong, it is trying to unlock it with 256 chip location. please the screenshot i have uploaded
