Hi. I am reading the comments of the battery, I wonder if anyone has tried:
1. Connect the equipment to the usb port and change the battery.
2. Connect a second battery in parallel and replace the original battery.

Need to work 100%, but you need to work with big precision to not make short circuit on pcb or anothers mistakes !

If open the device and solder on pcb to connect in paralel second battery in some test points which go at - and + of ori battery, after you can unsolder safe the ori battery and replace it with new one or with new one with more capacity if fit in the sampe position in pcb to solder it, after can remove the second battery what it was solder in paralel for not lose the voltage when replace the ori battery, for not lose the data licence what have the tool !

This metod need to work for all device what have RTC with battery inside and need it to be replaced at some time the battery, like for: VVDI Prog, VVDI2, FVDI, AVDI, SMOK, Iprog Pro, ....
