It means that you DONT need update firmware.

Atmega1280 have pinout misunderstanding and unclear color cable in VVDI Prog, some one can inform Xhorse for fix and correct and update photo with correct connections.

I try to read Atmega1280 with pinout color how is in photo from VVDI Prog but is not correct and not worked, after some test I find a solution to read and get ID of mcu but is show me ID: 53535353, if I read eeprom or flash the content data inside is all buferr is 53.

I think VVDI Prog not read this type of MCU correct or my adapter V3 is not good.

Some one try until now to read Atmega1280 to confirm us if can read correctly or not with VVDI Prog ?

After some tests if I see not worked with VVDI Prog to read or write this MCU, I try to read it with Smartprog2 from Elnec and read it and write correctly the all data in Atmega1280.

how sensitive is this one to read 29f400BB i have adapter and it reads but with errors and verified errors as well and if no errors reading and verified ok still some info missing from flash

VVDI can't erase TC234 p-flash,d-flash.
In status line U can see "erase error" and in flash make some stupid changes.....
