You cannot read it. Only erase is possible.

how can i read with VVDI PROG over the BDM function a ST "58BW016"?

i find only EEPROM&FLASH / ST / M58BW016 and this is over the Adapter, not over BDM.

soldering is good I checked pin by pin to make sure there was conecto y ever there was supposed to be and no connection where there wasn't supposed to be. i tried it with an mcu of the same family with mask id 0D69J it read it no problem. vvdi prog doesn't give me an option for the mcu I started above the 0D53J but they should be the same. could I have damaged the mcu by applying too much heat? what could be the issue. any help is appreciated thanks.

VVDI prog is not the best for HC05, sometimes there might be a problem with reading. Try xprog if you have, work 100%
