    Default Connection SID803 BDM Help

Hi mates, i trying to read ECU Siemens SID803 by BDM, i consfused bcause y found in forum differents pinouts for this ecu.

I try to connect DSDI, DSDO, DSCK, PORST AND GND and power supply to ECU connector.

I use two tools, x-prog V5.51 and FGTECH V53. With x-prog nothing happed, the bar still quiet, i never use this tool to read MPC, and with FGTECH at first moment appear error log message.

For read with x-prog is necessary connect VFLS1 and VFLS0? is necessary use adapter 9s12-BMD? i need change HZ value?

    I am ussing this connection.

carefull BDM 100 and fgtech bdm pinouts are inverted. its not the same. taht is why fgtech uses a intermediate adapter...to convert from fgtech pinout to normal BDM
    u have ktag?

I have just found this thread and was going to day I have used xprog for this ecu and it worked well and was thought it was because you didn't have the other two connections connected. Glad to see you found the fault

Hi guys. I'm new in reading and writting tools and I can't seem to succeed in BDM Reading with both galletto and K-tag, all connections are OK. I wonder if my bdm adapter is faulty? Also I don't understand about vfsl0 and vfsl1, do I need to short them ?

Thanks to morfej finally i read this ECU in BDM with GALLETTO v54.
    I use BDM/JTAG MPC55x/56x driver.

I tried with BDM Siemens OptiCan 201 adapter clone and other diagrams from the web but nothing works.
    Diagram from morfej works 100%.

    Big thanks.

I have edited the picture from Morfej to show the colour coding of the open ended wire supplied with most Galletto and added some instructions on safely powering the device and ECU
