    Default Startup Issues - SL1000

    Hi,

Could someone help, I have bought a Eurovox SL1000 that had the FTA software on, however only 8 channels came up after the deep scan. I uploaded the latest firmware DARX but it still only finds those 8 channels (eg. Anim*l Pl*net etc.)

is there something I am missing?

    thanks,
    DrTim.

thanks, have tried that now but still same result. Have used the latest 24.02.09 DarX firmware.

in order for it to find any TV channels do you have to be signed up to a basic package as currently only on Phone & Bband but previously connection had TV?

When performing a deep scan it only picks up 1 frequency & then 10 channels. This was the case with the original FTA firmware & have tried Oct 2008 & Feb 2009 versions with the same result. Any help appreciated...

you only need to scan one symbolrate (if you say where your nearest big town is someone will tell you it)
on powerscan are you setting start frequency 100 and stop 870 step 8
