Bad read. all 0000 yet 2mb file, my kess seems to quite often do a read perfect then realise bad dump, all zeros
no idea why,
got sorted now, used fgtech all ok,. thanks

how did you do egr off if your file is ~~~~???????

Read with Fgtech and wrote same, all ok sorted,
bottom line is KESS flaky on proper reads . i read another A4 same engine code CAGA engine code, same year 3-4 weeks ago perfect kess, now, as you say ffffffff etc. question is why ok sometimes other times 000000 ffffff etc,
also i get checksum buffer error on write sometmes,
