Default Kess v2 "CHANGE OF SESSION NOT POSSIBLE" - VAG EDC16 ECU

    Good evening gents,

new day - new challenges (new ~~~~ up

Today I was playing around with the updated Kess v2 and wanted to write an ori file back to an EDC16 on a BXE Skoda Octavia when above message appeared on the screen.

I have tried Writing and also Recovery without success - this message comes up on Kess.

Any idea how to overcome this?

Dont sound good, then, as eeprom, unless you got full back up of eeprom, which i doubt.
    immo off, or dealers.
your not having much luck mate,

This is a kind of bumpy ride as I've already ~~~~ed up my KTag
Also I've done the read out via OBD so I haven't got a full backup. Am I right thinking that?

Well, depends how you look at it - I AM having serious fun

BTW, you right no pro would do that
This is a non runner from my mate's junkyard - had a problem not receiving a proper signal from the camshaft sensor so they dumped it and I had no better idea but play around So it's not really an issue, more of a challenge.

Could have I done a full backup by OBD anyway with Kess?
Also I reckon for immo off I need different tools, don't I?

    Regards,
That's fine. But would it be possible to do anything to recover the ECU (apart from immo off first) if I have only read it initially via OBD.
As that's not a FULL backup, is it?
