Hi, Thanks for the post but when I load it on there are no channels at all contained in the file. I've done a blind scan and picked up all my channels that way but i cannot reorder them or move to sports movies etc. I managed to get a file loaded into the channeledit software but all edit options are greyed out and not editable.

    any help appreciated

      I was just doing some re editing there, so have reloaded to my receiver a few times, here is the last edit(just loaded onto my own, working ok);
(wondering is it the firmware version difference maybe?).

I'll check that out this evening when I get back. What version of channeledit and 7z are you using as the info is still greyed out when I try to edit your latest file? Any chance you'd send on the links?
I'm looking to be a wee bit more self sufficient if possible instead of relying on folk. Not sure what firmware I have as I updated to the latest version a few months back but it became really jippy so
I went back to an earlier release - frustrating!!

These are the ones I used, part of the `trick` is pointing the editor to the 7..zip folder in ypur pc's programme folder(dont highlight the .exe file just point to the folder its in within the pc's prog folder).

I would have to go recheck my firmware ver(can do later if u wish?).

Yep the box can be frustrating, but when u get it working right its fantastic, streaming is better than any others I have seen, just as good as in stand alone android(mx) etc boxes or pc.

          Good luck.

I have had a go there and got some way to getting what I want. Could you without messing up your own system look at this to see where I'm going wrong. The Irish is nowhere to be seen once its loaded on the box and the channels are all out of order despite me adding carefully in order and at the time of archiving, they appeared correct. It looks fine in the editor but all up the left once on the box!!

Am I safe to assume that you must start off from a full blind scan to create a blank channel list or can you scan one TP only and overwrite?
I'm happy with the box as it does all I want - its a pity you cant convert / use another list from another box that has more support.

            THanks for the help

I did a blind scan to start with although I imagined the ch list would write over all?

Did u mean to upload your channel list?-if you can I will have a look at it, see if I can spot what is going on?

Opps- silly me- i see it/have got it-having a look.

Yes I did notice even with mine the ch I moved/edited didn't necessarily stay where I first put them although still in the same fav folder ok- one of the remaining quirks I think.

I think u can scan a tp edit reload etc, the full scan then edit would be the best starting point your right.

There is another new firmware due with supposed menu update & x*mc, wasn't released last week when i checked, will keep looking and let u know when it comes out.

looks like they are trying to give/inc a menu driven ch/fav edit which would be nice.

Cheers, did you notice anything very wrong? As S*y is getting rid of the lifestyle and putting them all into Entertainment, I tried to do likewise.

I started with a full blind scan, backed up the list and edited that. Will iterative changes make it hold (fine tuning) - I wonder???

I take it its Frodo that's on your box.

Your channel list looked ok in the editor.
Looked up my firmware-yes frodo and the version was feb 2015.

This new firmware if they release it yes it should enable fine edit I reckon.

Right oh.... Latest iteration of my list. If someone else is brave enough to stick it on their box to see if they're having the same trouble as me!!

It looks fine in the editor but all over the place once on the box

You can't at the min. As z11 says further up, with the new firmware it might be a possibility but its not out yet that I'm aware.
I note that these boxes have halved in price in the last week or so - I wonder if there is something just round the corner?
