Default VW 5K0 837 202 AD remote coding by MVP Pro

    Hi,

My friend tried to code this remote key to a VW Polo 2011. He programmed remote without problem but he couldn't program transponder. He needed to replace the chip and then all went good. Why is that? 3D Group say 'ready for precode'. What does this mean? Maybe this key can only be programmed by ex. AVDI? I don't understand.

. I used zedfull . Key shown successfully added but the car not start with .I key that opened the key pulled antenna board and have scheduled another chip that sat in that telecomanda.am tried with fvdi key to program the same show that was scheduled .imi but the car not start . It's best to use a separate chip key

You simply had the wrong TP!, ready for precoding only via eeprom way, using tango, avdi, etc not suitable via obd.

if nazz is correct then how you program other transponder??

I have had a few of these keys that seem to program ok, but then the car dont pick up transponder unless you take out circuit board from key and hold close to ignition lock, then transponder is 'seen' ok.

I had these before on some cars(on a polo 2010 funny enough), went to help a locksmith who couldnt programm the original key, and the spare key, swaped his chip with mine and vola, it went tro!! dodgy/weak transponders? bad supplyers? bad/ faulty batch? we have to think outside the box sometimes.!

ps, on 106, 306 , i usually hold the TP, next to the aerial, not in the key ,at first.

    can a used VW 5K0 837 202 AD be programmed to a VW mk6?
i'm guessing we have to replace the TP for a new one, and it's the soldered on type and not the id48 pill type.
i have use of fvdi and carprog.

    many thanks in advance

Yes you can! Remover org and glue in the "id48 pill type" and VCDS the Remote.
