Samsung Smart Remote paired with Openbox V8SE

Hi,

I was looking to set up my Opednbox with my smart Samsung TV and it took few weeks till I managed to connect the smart univesal remote so though to share it.

It is basically very simple.
Depending which Smart TV you have the setting my differ but the principle should be the same

Using you smart remote I went to Source --> Universal Remote Set-Up -->Start
Ensure the IR Extender Cable is connected to the TV and placed few inches in-front of the Openbox. Click OK and Set-top box-->TV
see a list with the service providers. Instead of selecting any of the one listed simple type in the search box Openbox and Done-->NEXT

Select your TV Input Source (In my case is HDMI1) then press NEXT.
SET UP CONTROL TEST screen will apear and you test Channel Up and Down and VOILA... you can control your Openbox using the beautiful Smart Remote from Samsung.

The feeling is amazing..Using the Openbox default remote used to be slow to respond, to navigate etc..Now a little Smart Remote works like magic.
It can navigate through channels, pause, record. It cannot access the Openbox deafault menu so for updates etc you need to use default control. If someone is able to fix that please let me know.
