Genuine Kess Ktag slave to master

Hi guys i recently updated my china clone to the latest firmware/software available at present, do you know if i can do the same procedure to change a genuine slave tool into a master ?

Yes + it needs new NXP

oh cant you just flash the original thats on the tools

NXp is locked with CRP 3 on the slave

right i get it so anytime you get a update on a legit slave all the files are going to the sdcard??

Yes it can be done to version 2.08 and works a treat...

After updating my clone I played with the reset file and clicked and since then everything has greyed out. I have wiped the sd and it has installed all the protocols etc a very helpful guy has been helping me and sent me a token file for uploading new tokens but it doesn't seem to be working for me

why play with token file when you already updated the tool ?

Lol it wasn't intentional I was just looking to see how it was done and I clicked and it did it. Any ideas if it is fixable our is it time for a new ine

not sure if fixable as i never put myself in that situation run the software ksuite check info button if your client an customer code not good buy new nxp

It's payday next week think I'm just going to start a fresh with the latest kess and ktag plus I don't think my soldering skills are good enough to fit a new chip
