So its variable depend on producer eeprom chips, but if any other chips is readable without problems i mean if good step on right way is checking what is value VDD for your chip from CP.

Thats hard to find. I always get the newer ones which seem different on the board with pin 55.

I have a problem whit my carprog and would like to ask if there is any way that I can fix it...

I have original Carprog and when I conect it to the pc and open software the software does not recognise the serial number of the device.
If I insist pluging it in and out sometimes I have a partial serial number apear...
Anyone have these problem before? I have try to search the thread but didnt find something that leads me to fixing it.

If you have shortcut that s happen or do have subscription?
When open program do it direct from carprog folder ,aplication ,then conect wery fast .
They have a lot to security Update, now have V 13.09

Yes I have full airbag. I always open the software from desktop shortcut. I wil try what you have sugested and report back

Program now see interface all ok but crashes a lot and cant write eeproms.....

Try check all lines power source first - output from voltage stabilizers and secondly try change all stabilizing condenser around voltage stabilizers
