That’s why people rework clone. So they are able by to read / write eeprom

When you try reading does it say “no id found”
I try doing two Nissan modules recently and it didn’t want to read .

no it does not show "no id found" , it's all work fine , when i read all of the dump change to FF , it also doing verify and says VERIFY OK , but the dump is FF

i will find the solution , and be sure i will share it i think the flash file that i write to chip with jlink is bad , myb !

easy way for a test is to reflash with fw4.01 then see if it reads eeproms ok
then reflash with fw4.74 and do same test
then reflash with fw8 and do same tests again
if it dont read on any then pcb needs reworking
if it reads on fw4.. then its a fw issue

I don’t know how to do that hahah . I’ve been doing airbag modules for one year. If I had money for an original one I’d rather get one rather than clone.

I don’t recommend a clone unless it’s reworked.. and even then don’t expect it to be super great programmer. It’s ok. Mainly for airbags.

Gonna rework the clone but need a good place to purchase from. Only planning on using it for airbags and maybe 912 motorola mcu thats about it. Any place that has decent quality clone that ships to usa without having to wait a month??

I purchased off someone from car technology.. already reworked with an adapter it was like $200.... I remember it took a while to get but I think it was cause this COVID thing.... recently for some reason it isn’t reading correctly though. When I try reading a module by part number it keeps saying “no id found “ and when I try reading thru eeprom type it’s bad readings. Idk if it’s the Carprog or adapter but I got over it.. I have ultraprog , cpt (not all activations ) and looking to get original upa or etsmart ... and have airbag service tool
