Hello Guys,
my Carprog stopped working.
Its a china clone v 9.32.
Problem is that it doesnt get reckognized by usb anymore.
So i opened it and hooked my jlink segger to it in orer to reflash AT91SAM7S256.
I have a really bad connection to the CPU although it was properly erased and wiring is set up well.
All i can get out of the J-Flash Software is "unknown JTAG Device" sometimes and sometimes it wont show up at all.
There is no conection whatsoever possible with AT91 CPU. All i get is "unable to halt CPU core"
I attached screenshots.

I already replaced AT91 CPU but with no luck.
Does anybody know what to do here?
Seems like something on the PCB is defective and prevents a good communication via JTAG.

Also, can you provide a good file for reflash please? The Files attached to post #3 doesnt seem to work as the archive is corrupted.
Id love to have a FW where everything is working no online counter, thanks

i think if you buy new AT91SAM7S256 all will be ok,your processor may be the issue

I see these advertised " Carprog Full Perfect Online Version Firmware V8.21 Software V10.93"

what are the issues with them and do they need modifying

Hey guys I purchased carprog clone v8.21 but audi rb4 function will not let me read or write immo with their software. I downloaded v8.21 from post #3 but no change. When connected to rb4 dash on bench these buttons are still grayed out any idea why??

if it has really got fw 8 then why would you have to mod it?
only mods needed are normally to pcb to make it work better by replacing shit components for good ones
like all china clone hardware
