Can we reset Chinese carprog 4.74 tokens with software? I saw a couple of software online...don't know if I should use them or not.

Yes its called the countdown and yes..Same way you upgrade 4.01 to 4.47, its the same exact procedure to reset the counter.

What I meant is...can you re-set counter without re-flashing firmware.

No its not possible with version 4.74.

I have original carprog with 2015 update. i bought the update specifically to repair volvo XC60 module. it uses 9S12XDT384 but carprog does not read at all. does anyone else have this issue?

You talking about the dash right.. you have to use the A1+ adapter and A21 VOLVO CAN, its not the same as A1 cable.

no was for xc60 airbag, but they confirmed today with me that is was mistakenly put on there so they will take it off soon. luckily support was very helpful and did not have issues with refunding me the money for the upgrade since it is false advertised.

Hi mate I didn't upgrade my carprog

Just I reset the counter for my Carprog 4.01 then if I want use it gave me message which said delete you libfile & use internet update

Oh the usb reset...Been a while since i used that...If I recall correctly you replace lib file with one in d/l folder unlockok.exe and go to internet update and that shold be it.
