I'm trying to fix a "B1620-Internal Fault Replace SRSCM" on my 2011 Kia Sorento. I need to flash the module with it installed in the vehicle via ODB2.
Will CarProg allow me to flash(read/write EEPROM) the module via ODB2 while installed in the vehicle?
Where can download version 12.
THANKS MATE...
friends can help me. I can't record someone knows why it can be?
:wink
Hello. I have carprog 8.21 clone.. I started it 12.45 version with 150428CAR00542UA lib file.. Is there any way To read the EEPROM? I Have Honda accord 2014 hybrid with 77960-T3V-A020-M4 SPC560P50L3 airbag module.

Hello everyone,
I will borrow carprog clone from my friend to do some work, haven't used it yet so I got some questions about it,
I did not read all of 60 pages yet but only first 15, I want you to ask about:
- which version is the best, I read about 4.01 as the one which is able to write data to microprocessors, is this one a good one?
- is that a true that original carprog is not offering write option at all?
- if currently my carprog version is 4.01, am I able to upgrade it to any higher version?
- which clone version originally comes with HC125A chip? Is this chip required to have a write option available?
- clone hardware upgrade is only about replacing a chip HC125 to HC125 A or anything else?
Now I have some different questions, I want to clear crash data in sdm airbag module (opel insignia 2011) with 9s12XDP512,
- what version do I need? Is a chip HC125 A required to get it done?
- what adapter do I need? A1 multi or may I upgrade A1
- about the clear process, do I need to connect adapter directly to obd port (obd port 1 gmlan + external psu 12v?) or to some other points on the pcb?
- do I need to lift any leg from microprocessor?
Hello. I have a question about carprog. I received what is in the picture. Is it possible to reflash it or change the MCU? Now it is AT91SAM7S256-MU.

I reworked this carprog a bit, added the ability to reset the MCU (I cut the path to GND) but still it won't reset. I connect pad55 to 3.3V for 10-15s then to GND but J-Link has error "Could not find supported CPU core on JTAG chain. Failed to connect." In target interface window after clicking detect nothing is shown. After connecting to computer it recognizes it normally and CP reads SN so it doesn't reset. What else can I check?

i see you solved your problem but for the others that have not, you have to power up the carprog first OR if you are using 3.3v from jtag tool to power the chip you have to wait approx 5-10 seconds after powering it up, then touch the wire you made for pin 55 to 3.3v for approx 5-10s then remove the wire and i turned it off (or unplugged j-link from usb) then plugged it back in and it detected, however you must leave pin 55 disconnected until youre done flashing, oh and make sure you removed your eeprom 8 pin chip or at the very least de-soldered leg 8 and lifted it, i just removed the smd all together until i was finished
good friends, I'm from Peru, greetings, a query the most complete version of carprog clone is 8.21 according to what I've read, I already bought 2 on aliexpress it lasts a while and starts counting down, the question is how to cancel that count it will never be used cpu internet? it is only for knowledge since it is not so expensive thanks greetings
