Higher not really...some say yes and yet still no proof. As for the counter, nope they all have.

anyone tryed to reverse engineer 4.74 ARM binary with IDA pro + qemu? to see which parts of code can be modified in order to remove counter and enable new functions?

i have some success in understading what is hidden inside this binary but not skilled enough for now to mess with counter

also what are these red values (vFFFFFF60 etc..)? address into RAM or something else?

You will need a lot of time on yr hands to crack this

...I heard that their stuff in encrypted.

problem is that im not really familiar with ARM so no idea how to enable JTAG (there is security bit setted by this firmware which disables JTAG)

if i manage to enable JTAG then i can download firmware after counter decreases and see exactly which part of memory is modified
then patching it to not decrease will be very easy to make

Ciao a tutti, sono nuovo e sto seguendo tutte le discussioni carprog e xprog, ho entrambi e li ho cambiati entrambi con JTAG, il mio problema ? che ho bisogno dell'abilitazione s7.20, vale a dire la riparazione del cruscotto da OBDII per AUDI A3, TT, R8 nuovo 2010+, qualcuno ha sbloccato questa funzione? nel suo firmware Ho provato molti ma per ora nessuno ha questa caratteristica. Grazie mille ? uno dei migliori in circolazione comunity.

Sorry for bumping this thread but I haven't got a definitive answer for my question anywhere.

Can I erase the airbag code F3-11 on a 2007 Honda civic using carprog? Its a hard code that can't be resetted by the OBD 2 reader, I am using a solus ultra and it doesn't work. So can anyone tell me if I can use carprog to remove the code and reset the srs module memory? Thanks

Yes you can by using carprog and reading the eeprom and clearing crash with software.

You will be able to read the eeprom with any version clone carprog you got for that module.

Ok, im going to order it, and follow the guide from here on and report back. Thanks again FxShaw, if I get it to work, i will also try and make a dumbed down, bare metal tutorial for someone like me who has no idea of how this stuff works.
