I found it. Solution looks OK. CP 8.21 work but not tested on car.

Anybody know, why my CP after select some function in cp, ( eg. edc16 vag ) disconnect from usb ? Sounds like cable unplug. I dont know why, cable OK, tested on 2 pcs CP.

No China clone never can do 70% of original.

If u looking for good clone only
EU clone is good solutions.

Tried to get radio code from vw technisat by using my original carprog, it failed, I get "read error"

If i read the eeprom under the eeprom menu 24c16, it reads fine and i get dump. but cannot get the code.

any ideas?

Test some one if can in one clone carprog unit to writhe the one valid serial know from one original unit carprog and after to use it the clone unit like original with internet update ?

I can read car pass i change 4 , 74hc125. I do test and never fail but it is no correct, change and work very good

First off...thanks to all who have posted in this thread.

I've reflashed my clone carprog with both the v4.47 and v8.21 at the beginning of this thread but when I connect the mcu to my computer and launch the carprog software the device is not recognized. I do not have usb human interface listed in device manager either. I've tried with both the 12v external power connected and without. The corresponding lib file from this thread is in the same folder as carprog.exe

When reflashing the mcu I did not remove the at88 chip since the latest tutorials I found said there was no need to remove it.

If I erase the mcu and connect to the computer the computer recognizes that something is plugged in but cannot identify it.

I've tried multiple usb cables and multiple computers all with the same result.

Is this a sign that either the at88 chip is corrupt or erased or maybe the mcu is dead?

Does anyone have any suggestions to try to bring this back to life or should I just buy another mcu and start over?
