    hi there can someone help my friend is disabled and can not change the tv channels so on his samsung tv there is a schduled viewing option so he can choose what to watch and the tv auto changes the channel as the day goes on so he can watch the shows that hes schduled eg 7pm eastender one bbc1 then the tv will change channel at 7.30 to another channel etc etc my question is are the any skybox/openbox etc than can do this a long shot but if anyone knows thanks

    It can be done on the 7 day EPG on the v5s or v8s openboxes. However, the v5s EPG is still broken (summertime bug) and the v8s EPG isn't really fit for purpose ie a lot of channels have blank info especially for the first 24 hours after an update. You might be better off asking a mod or admin to move this thread to the general sat tv sub forum where members who own zgemma, vu or other makes of boxes can give an opinion on how practicable these boxes would be for your friend's needs.

    On any Openbox/Skybox you can set up to 8 timers for any period as they are set by date regardles of any epg.
